Terrapins at second FARM

On guessing and multidimensional concepts.

October 10-11, the second instance of Formal Approaches to Rationality and Meaning (FARM) takes place in New York City, and features two talks by four Terrapins. Leo Yang discusses his work on "Relevant alternatives in guessing," and the team of Ilaria, Fabrizio and Eric present their paper on "The structure of multidimensional concepts."

FARM is also founded and co-organized by Paolo, along with Harvey Lederman, Matt Mandelkern, Julia Staffel and Snow Zhang. The first instance was at Maryland last year. It is a submission-based conference with work from many adjacent fields, including epistemology, philosophy of language, decision theory, philosophical logic, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, and metaethics.
