Undergraduate Advisors

The undergraduate advisors are equipped to handle all formal and informal advising matters for the Philosophy major/minor and the PPE major, including declaring a major or minor, transferring courses, and questions about specific courses. 

Fall 2026 drop-in advising hours are: 

• Monday: 11-1
• Tuesday: 11-1
• Wednesday: 11-1 and 3-4
• Thursday: 11-1 and 3-4

You can also meet with an advisor (in person or over zoom) outside of these hours by scheduling an appointment. Please email philadv@umd.edu to schedule an appointment, and please include your UID number when emailing the advisors.
