Minorities and Philosophy chapter started in the Philosophy Department

We welcome the newly formed Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) Chapter at the University of Maryland.   For the Fall 2020 term, MAP will be hosting a bi-weekly reading group on Philosophy of Race and Racism, a virtual workshop for undergraduates looking to apply to graduate school this Fall, and virtual happy hours for graduate students. You can contact the chapter representatives to find out more about MAP's events and mission at MAPterps@umd.edu.  (Note: photo of Frederick Douglass memorial on University of Maryland Campus)
