Modal logic and social choice.

July 29 through August 9, the 35th installment of the European Summer School in Logic, Language and Information is in Leuven, university city and capital of Flemish Brabant, and Eric Pacuit is right there with it, teaching two course: one  on Neighborhood Semantics for Modal Logic and the other on Social Choice and Machine Learning. Exactly 10 years ago the North American cousin of ESSLLI, known as NASSLLI, had its 6th meeting at Maryland, and was directed by Eric with help from Valentine Hacquard and Alexander Williams
