Distinguished Scholar Teacher Lecture - Valentine Hacquard / Who wants to know?

October 21, we celebrate the induction of Valentine to the ranks of UMD Distinguished Scholar Teachers, with a lecture from Valentine herself, followed by a reception in the adjoining atrium.

The DST award honors members of the Maryland faculty – this year six total, across the university – who "have demonstrated outstanding scholarly achievement as well as outstanding accomplishments as teachers, serv[ing] as models of excellence for the faculty of a top research university."
