My primary interests are ethics (esp., non-ideal theories of social justice) and political economy. Recently, I have been concerned with the normative phenomena of recognition in various social relationships (e.g., friendship, love, legal rights, economic transaction, and democratic politics), and the sufferings of misrecognition (e.g., domination, exploitation, and reification). I also have broad interests in philosophy of mind, philosophy of action, Ancient Greek Philosophy, and early modern philosophy (esp., British empiricism and Kant). Before coming to the University of Maryland, I received a BA in Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh (2020), and an MA in Philosophy from Northern Illinois University (2022).
