Philosophy of Language

Philosophy of language is increasingly being pursued in ways that are informed by developments in linguistics, and Maryland is at the forefront of this movement.    Two faculty members (Pietroski, Williams) have joint appointments with Maryland's highly ranked department of Linguistics
