I am a Ph.D candidate working on philosophy of cognitive science, natural kinds and mechanistic explanation. My main areas of interest include philosophy of mind and cognitive science, philosophy of biology and applied ethics (specially biomedical ethics).  I arrived at the University of Maryland, College Park with a Fulbright scholarship. Before that, I did my MA at the University of British Columbia, Canada, as a fully sponsored student from "La Caixa". Between the two, I enjoyed a year as a visiting student at Logos, University of Barcelona. During my undergrad, I spent some time in the following institutions: - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain. - University of California at Santa Barbara, CA, USA. - Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Madrid, Spain.
