AOS: Aesthetics, Metaphysics
Office: SKN 2120

I'm doctoral candidate student in the Philosophy department at the University of Maryland, College Park. I completed an M.A. at Northern Illinois University before leaving the frozen cornfields of Illinois for the humid swampland of D.C. In a former life I was a portrait painter. I also like to ride my motorcycle.

My research interests are primarily in the philosophy of art and metaphysics, with side interests in philosophy of language and epistemology. My dissertation is about whether videogames can be properly categorized as artworks, including using videogames as a test case for current theories of art and theories of ontology of cultural artifacts.
