Room:SQH 2122
Meeting Times:3:00pm - 4:15pm

Quantum theory is at the heart of modern physics, but physicists and philosophers are still grappling with how best to understand it. Spooky Action at a Distance will introduce students to one crucial part of the puzzle: Does quantum mechanics allow for what Einstein called "spooky action at a distance?" The course will be accessible to students with no technical background and will draw on the history of physics and philosophy as well as contemporary essays to give students a window on a profound and hotly debated question.
